Baltimore's real estate market favors buyers with increased inventory, falling prices, and longer days on market.
"Baltimore is a decent-sized city but functions more like a cluster of smaller towns, even within the city itself. Neighborhoods can feel worlds apart," says Kenneth Fagan, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster Real Estate/Luxury Portfolio International. "Roland Park has large, high-end homes, while Waterfront-everything from Fells Point to Harbor East-offers smaller homes, great walkability, and wonderful restaurants."
Directed by Jay Duplass, this microbudget dramedy follows an improv comic named Cliff (Michael Strassner, who co-wrote the script) a few months after a failed suicide attempt. Now sober and adjusting to a loving but controlled relationship with his fiancée, Brittany, Cliff's Christmas Eve dental emergency leads him to the office of Didi (Liz Larsen), a dentist distracted by the idea that her ex-husband just got remarried that morning.
I moved from Newport News, Virginia, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2022 because of the Tulsa Remote program. It was around Christmastime of 2021, and I was looking for a new opportunity. I had just moved to Newport News from Virginia Beach just for that year. I really needed a change of pace, and I got introduced to MakeYourMove.com. I saw that a bunch of different cities had incentives for remote workers at the time.
This week, I had the pleasure of attending the Baltimore premiere of a new offbeat romcom, The Baltimorons. To put it plainly: The film is magic, the kind that can only happen when there's a deeply honest story being told over a backdrop that also, somehow, manages to tell its own story at the same time. Strassner and Larsen? Epic chemistry. Baltimore? Hardly a third wheel, but a star in its own right.
Hello and happy Monday, folks-an especially happy one on the heels of that wonderful series in the Bronx. We've got Baltimore on deck to begin the week. We travel to Camden Yards for a four-game set starting tonight at 6:35 EST, as our Red Sox will look to avenge the two-game mini sweep that unfolded at Fenway a week ago. Beautiful park, Camden is.
