To celebrate 50to01 turning 10 years old, we felt it was only right to get the crew together for a big road trip. We headed north in 8 vans with 16 of us in total, armed with a loose plan to meet up with our Scottish pals at some beautiful spots. Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed to 50to01 over the years.
The school cafeteria line was always a hit-or-miss situation. Some days, there would be chicken tenders with a side of mac and cheese, and other days, there would be soggy hamburgers with greasy string beans. While we yearn for the good ol' days of fresh-baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies and bags of animal crackers, we certainly don't miss the days when the cafeteria lunchline served food that tasted like it hadn't seen the inside of a spice cabinet in 20 years.

Though the highest concentration of actual shops are in Florida, New York, and New Jersey, if you're in the U.S., you can probably find a Häagen-Dazs in a nearby city.
