On Nov. 4, California voters will decide the fate of Proposition 50, the initiative pushed by Gov. Gavin Newsom that would redraw the state's congressional districts. Newsom called the initiative a necessary response to partisan redistricting initiated first by Texas Republicans, while Republicans shot back that the plan was illegal. In addition to that, voters in Santa Clara County have two other races to weigh in on; in Alameda County, there's one extra race.
