The centerpiece of the University of Connecticut's new 22-acre Northwest Science Quad District, Science 1, is a 198,000 SF academic research building dedicated to the interdisciplinary fields of materials science and engineering.

ISALAB is an engineering school focused on the construction and building sectors, designed for the Montaury campus in Anglet, South-West France. The school's three volumes are arranged from west to east along the eastern edge of the site, which opens onto a square and garden, looking like a clearing in the Montaury forest.
