Bayern Munich moved swiftly in the winter transfer window to sign Jonas Urbig. The young German goalkeeper is highly rated at Bayern. He is currently the deputy to Manuel Neuer. Urbig stepped up in the absence of Neuer during crucial games last season. Apart from Urbig, Bayern also have Alexander Nubel on their books. The former Schalke goalkeeper has been excelling for VfB Stuttgart during the last two seasons.

Martinez, Villa's World Cup-winning shot-stopper, has attracted strong interest from Manchester United, who remain locked in negotiations with the Midlands club over a potential transfer.
