Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos sold his Seattle mansion this spring after about two years of living in Miami with his wife, Lauren Sánchez. It's the most expensive home ever sold in Washington state as of April, the Puget Sound Business Journal first reported, at an eye-popping $63 million, property records show. Bezos, who is worth $237 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, bought the 9,420-square-foot property in 2019,

"We have a small but powerful ecosystem here: exhibition spaces, artist studios, and people who are willing to work with each other," said Sabine Schumacher, director of BronxArtSpace in Hunts Point.

Bezos' decision to sell his luxurious Hunts Point estate in Washington for $63 million marks the highest residential sale in the state's history, illustrating the shifting priorities of the tech mogul.
