The Buckeyes have been unstoppable and largely unchallenged this season. QB Julian Sayin has been remarkably efficient, completing 80% of his passes with a 19-to-3 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

Nylander was ruled out of Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres with an unspecified injury. He left during the third period of Friday's game against the Sabres after getting hit by Buffalo's Jason Zucker. INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Pacers forward Obi Toppin will undergo surgery to repair a partial stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, the team announced Friday. "Probably not recommend talking about this again until probably February 1 [in] three months," coach Rick Carlisle said before the Pacers played the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. "That's his situation." According to Carlisle, Toppin will have surgery Monday in New York to place a screw in his foot.

Strome was injured 3:34 into the first period as he skated toward the end boards during a Capitals power play. The first-line center got tripped by Senators defenseman Artem Zub and was fallen on top of by Jakob Chychrun as they both collided into the boards. The Blue Jays intend to remove Anthony Santander from their ALCS roster, report Mitch Bannon and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
