After posting a 0.90 ERA through his first 50 Triple-A innings, Allan Winans finally got the call on June 23rd to start against the Cincinnati Reds. The results were disappointing, as he allowed seven runs (six earned) in 6.1 innings before getting sent back down on the Scranton Shuttle. Yet, Winans picked up right where he left off at Triple-A, recording his eighth and ninth consecutive wins for the RailRiders, proving he remains the next man up should a need arise.
