The official Final Fantasy VII account on X unveiled the upcoming update, calling it a celebration of the game's launch for Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. The Streamlined Progression options include toggles to always deal 9,999 damage or have your HP maxed out. Players can also just switch on double EXP or max Gil. Basically, Square Enix is letting people decide how chill they want to make their Final Fantasy VII Remake experience.

The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has issued a bulletin warning of a maximum-severity security flaw in SmarterTools SmarterMail email software that could be exploited to achieve remote code execution. The vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2025-52691, carries a CVSS score of 10.0. It relates to a case of arbitrary file upload that could enable code execution without requiring any authentication.

Depth 1 is straightforward enough. While some harder enemies and new item debuffs force players to adapt to the game in new ways, most were able to make short work of it. Then came Depth 2. For my team it was like hitting a brick wall, but others successfully made it to Depth 3. Past that, the game basically becomes a no-hit run mode in disguise.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a final patch introducing cross-platform mod support for consoles, allowing players to create and share mods easily later this year.

Baldur's Gate 3 has received its final major patch, enhancing the game with new features and fixing various bugs.
