Tori Amos' third album, Boys for Pele, is an unsettling exploration of trauma and revenge, intertwined with personal experiences and broader cultural themes surrounding male authority and sexual violence.

'They lower testosterone levels and result in reduced physiological signs of sexual arousal - fewer erections, less frequent ejaculation,' explained Belinda Winder, Professor of Forensic Psychology at Nottingham Trent University.

"It's not really important whether it was controversial or not; if we're showing all parts of history, then you've gotta show that part. Rape and abuse of power lives in our world and also lives in the galaxy far, far away."

Every major organisation involved in tackling sexual violence is strongly opposed to self-swabbing. Enough's critics include the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC), Bristol University, UWE, Rape Crisis England and Wales, and Bristol city council.

"I made it clear when I became president that I wouldn't be a hands-off president. I did take the opportunity to contact Naas and let them know the reservations that I had."
