The Pitt follows a melange of hospital workers—the doctors, nurses, social workers, security and administrative staff of a cash-strapped emergency room in Pittsburgh—as they deal with everything from gunshot wounds to burnout, fentanyl overdoses to dreaded note-taking, with all the emotional trauma in between.
Love Story was based on Elizabeth Beller's book Once Upon a Time, which was helpful, but in a lot of ways Black Rabbit was more 'real' than Love Story because it was entirely fictional. I come from a research background so there's always a lot of research involved, whether it's photographs or books.
a sense of what it's doing and where it's going and whisper it even a touch of commentary on the state of society today. It's almost like old American anthology days, when Murphy threw the likes of The People v OJ Simpson, Feud and The Assassination of Gianni Versace at us one after the other; leasing new lives to Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange and assorted other glorious figures, and having us believe the good times would roll for ever.
The Cold War was largely an exercise in futility. Soviet spies surveilled American agents embedded in Russia; said American agents knew they were being stalked, recorded, and quietly threatened. Stateside, it was the same game of paranoia - and in the end, it's hard to say what actual fruit was borne of it. That irony is the one thing - maybe the only thing - that Ponies understands intimately.
But it's Ethan Hawke, who plays a writer and bookstore owner named Lee Raybon, who's the real treat of the show. Lee, so beyond category in the world of media that he calls himself a "truthstorian," is equal parts good intention and questionable judgment. He boasts a dogged commitment to the truth but often makes the wrong choices, finds himself in bad situations, and has to bluff his way out-not always successfully.

At the Talamasca's London headquarters, Helen (Elizabeth McGovern) is sent a severed eyeball in the mail.

In a statement about the casting, Harry Potter showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director / executive producer Mark Mylod said that they were delighted to have finally found their leads after 'an extraordinary search' that saw 'tens of thousands of children' audition for the roles.
"We're doing Good Omens again. We're going back to do the final, we're doing a finale. There's been a slight rejig with the personnel, but we still get to tell that story."
