Currently, users who click links on X are taken to an in-app browser that takes up the full screen. Under the update, which Bier shared in a demo video, clicking on a link instead collapses the post's engagement bar to the bottom of the screen, letting users comment, repost, like, or save from inside the story as they scroll and read.
Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, now has a new chief financial officer: Former Morgan Stanley banker Anthony Armstrong, the Financial Times reported, citing anonymous sources. Armstrong, who previously advised Musk during the Twitter deal, will oversee the finances of both xAI and X, which were merged in April, the report said. The former banker has been working with xAI for several weeks and was only recently appointed as CFO, the FT added.

"We want to change that completely to where you can even go on X and you look forward to the ads, where you're actually interested to see what ads show up because they're going to be for products and services that you want," Musk said during a presentation to advertisers.
