Fiber lasers utilize a solid-state laser focused intensely through sophisticated fiber optics. This highly concentrated beam melts and vaporizes the targeted material almost instantly upon direct contact, achieving unmatched operational speed on thin-to-medium metal sheets.
The series unfolds from the synergy between Florim and the architectural vision of Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana. Together, they translate Goethe's journey through Italy, told in colour and timeless landscapes, into a sensory material experience.
I pitched my mom a very rational plan: I'd skip my last semester and instead spend 10 weeks in New Zealand and Australia doing extreme team-building with complete strangers. The design elements I would use for my maximalist work takes inspiration from tarpaulin advertisements and posters you would see across Metro Manila. The visual character of these advertisements are really kitsch.
