The Los Angeles Dodgers made minor trades at the deadline, acquiring Brock Stewart and Alex Call to fill roster gaps. Stewart, however, was sidelined by right shoulder inflammation after limited appearances. Manager Dave Roberts expressed concern about the absence of Stewart, vital to the team's strategy. Although facing a gap in right-handed options, there is hope regarding Stewart's recovery following an MRI. He received treatments for inflammation, suggesting a positive outlook for future participation in the team.
Right now it's a big blow. Obviously he's a big part of what we're trying to do, so to not have him available, hurts.
I didn't expect any structural damage, to be honest. I've had this kind of tendinitis-y feeling before, so I kind of expected to just hear back that it's inflammation.
Just showed a little inflammation, so hopefully calm it down and pick it back up.
I've had these shots in the past, and normally they help to ease the pain.
