The incident occurred around 5 p.m. in front of 249-31 Thebes Avenue, where the woman was approached by three unidentified suspects inside a dark-colored Infiniti sedan.
During the struggle, the individual forcibly took her cellphone, causing injuries to her face, authorities said.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.
