Here's a look at preparations for final ride of AIDS LifeCycle, ending after more than 30 years
Briefly

The AIDS LifeCycle, a significant 545-mile annual bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, is concluding after over three decades, attributed to rising production costs and a decline in donations post-pandemic. With over $300 million raised to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center, participants express bittersweet emotions about the final ride, viewing it as a stand against challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community, particularly regarding funding cuts under the current administration. There are hopes for the event's legacy to continue in different forms.
I'm really bummed that it's the last one, but I'm really excited that I was able to get back here for this last one.
I think with the current administration kind of cutting funding for so many important things, including HIV research, that this is a more important time than ever to support something like this, even if it means riding 545 miles.
