A double stabbing occurred in Erith on July 6, resulting in an 18-year-old girl and a 47-year-old woman sustaining life-changing injuries. Emergency services arrived around 3pm, with both victims receiving treatment and remaining in stable condition at the hospital. Two 16-year-old girls were arrested; one is suspected of attempted murder while the other faces additional charges, including drug possession and robbery. One girl is charged with grievous bodily harm and appeared in court, while the other is on bail as inquiries continue. Police urge anyone with information to call them.

The second victim, a 47-year-old woman, also sustained life-changing injuries in the attack in The Nursery on July 6.
