Police say a call about a man found dead in front of an apartment building on East 21st Street came in around 9:15 a.m. Law enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation say a head and a torso were found in a bag, near the garbage area of the building. A 76-year-old woman in New York City was killed Sunday by a 7-foot solar panel that came loose because of strong winds as a powerful nor'easter battered the East Coast. At around 10:30 a.m. ET, a woman was found unresponsive on a walkway in the Coney Island area of Brooklyn, New York police said Monday. Authorities determined that a solar panel struck the pedestrian in the head. She was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police say a 76-year-old woman has died in Brooklyn following a solar panel crash Sunday morning. The woman was struck in the head after the panel became loose and fell near Ocean Parkway and Brighton Beach Avenue around 10:30 a.m., according to NYPD officials. Authorities in upstate New York have joined the search for an 11-year-old Brooklyn boy with autism who hasn't been seen in more than a week. The New York City Police Department released a sketch of Jacob Pritchett last week, according to WABC. The outlet reported that authorities had gone to the boy's mother's Brooklyn apartment on Sept. 25 to conduct a wellness check. Jacob, who is reportedly nonverbal, was not found.

The videos were revealed as young Zemfira Mukhtarov's mother said her pre-teen daughter was obsessed with pulling off the social media stunts despite her parents' pleading, and had snuck out in the middle of the night Saturday before she was killed.

According to law enforcement sources, the tragic incident occurred at around 7:16 on Oct. 6 in the vicinity of Flushing Avenue and N. Elliot Place near the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Officers from the 88th Precinct rushed to the scene upon getting a 911 call about a motor vehicle collision. Officers determined that 60-year-old Theresa Valenti of 53rd Road in Maspeth exited a city bus onto an adjacent sidewalk before attempting to cross an elevated bike lane, which is raised above the roadway to sidewalk grade.

The attack occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 6, when a 43-year-old woman was sleeping in her Bushwick residence near Pilling Street and Evergreen Avenue, according to the NYPD.
