A 28-year-old man was killed and a woman wounded in a late-night shooting Thursday inside a Brooklyn apartment building, police said. Officers responding to a 911 call just before midnight at 380 Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant found Shyhemm Lee with a gunshot wound to the head and a 23-year-old woman with a graze wound to the neck, according to the NYPD.
Twin brothers were shot in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, leaving one dead and the other injured, while the gunman remains at large, according to police and sources. The siblings were found with gunshot wounds when cops arrived at Sutter and Euclid Avenues in the East New York neighborhood around 2:40 p.m. following reports of an assault, police said. Darius Coles, 20, of Brooklyn, was blasted in the chest and later pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, the Medical Examiner's Office confirmed.
