The driver of a southbound Mitsubishi crashed head-on into a northbound Toyota sedan after side-swiping another vehicle, resulting in a mass casualty event.

Kevin Crosby, 49, of the Bronx, was arrested Friday after a high-speed crash on West 125th Street killed 28-year-old cyclist Darly Zacarias and injured four others.

An intoxicated driver was arrested after going north in the southbound lanes on the Golden Gate Bridge, police said. The incident happened at about 4 a.m. Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police stopped the driver on the right shoulder of southbound Highway 101 near Alexander Avenue in the Marin Headlands, CHP Officer Arthur Tellez said. Officers found two loaded pistols and a loaded 31-round magazine in the vehicle, Tellez said.

Zato's lawyer, Megan Burns, said in her closing argument in November that Zato struck Roda under duress because she faced an imminent threat from a group of men who had beaten her and robbed her of her cellphone in front of the Oakland Public Library.
