Ilona Verley, who appeared on the first season of Canada's Drag Race in 2020, has shared that they “almost lost [their] life” after being involved in a motor vehicle accident in “this past week.”

The crash occurred on North Main Street in Yarmouth, south of the Great Western Road intersection, when Peter Richmond's vehicle hit a disabled boat trailer.
