The second closed playtest for Horizon Hunters Gathering runs May 22-25, featuring new characters and content for players to experience.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is months away from its November 19 release date, but a particular fan might just be able to play the open world crime game ahead of launch. Take-Two and Rockstar Games are said to have reached out to a terminally ill fan to grant their wish to play GTA 6 while they still can. That's according to Anthony Armtrong, a family member of the terminally ill fan and himself a developer at Ubisoft Toronto.
The test is to gather feedback on "combat improvements" like footstep audio updates that improve distance perception surface definition, and enemy audibility. Network and hit registration changes are also being tested that should result in "more consistent interactions and better responsiveness during close-quarters and higher-intestiy combat. Battlefield Studios also notes that there will be "broader adjustments across key combat systems."
The public playtest for Valor Mortis will be held from October 6-13. Fans who want to participate are invited to sign up on the game's official site. The playtest features the first chapter of the game's pre-alpha build, which introduces the world and its story while giving you 10 possible levels of progression as you make their way past a mini boss.
