A shooting near Howard University has left at least four people shot, police in Washington DC said. The shooting happened as thousands descended on the campus for homecoming celebrations. Police responded to shots being fired at 8.23pm on the 600 block of Howard Place, near the university's Yard and the School of Architecture building. Police say the shooting left one person in critical condition and one person in serious condition.

Police said the man saw the suspects steal a Nissan Altima during a robbery in Oakland and chased them into Berkeley, where he fired a handgun at them from a Chevrolet Tahoe. The Nissan traveled into neighboring Emeryville and collided with a parked car in the 6700 block of Hollis Street, according to police.

A man was severely injured in a shooting in East Boston on Wednesday evening, police said.

The incident happened around 12:50 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 400 block of Minnesota Avenue, near Willow Street, San Jose police spokesperson Stacie Shih said in a news release Tuesday. Officers arrived at the scene to find evidence of a shooting but no victims, Shih said. While investigating the incident, officers located a pair of victims a man and a woman and their car, which was riddled with bullet holes, Shih said.

A woman was killed in a daytime shooting in Roxbury on Monday. Boston police received a report of a person being shot near 1855 Washington St. around 1:07 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she later died, police say.

A teenage boy is in a critical condition after he was shot in north London. The Metropolitan Police was called to High Road, in Arnos Grove, at 17:40 BST on Thursday to reports of a shooting. A 17-year-old was treated at the scene for serious injuries and taken to hospital.

QUEENS, NY - Police are searching for a suspect who shot a 15-year-old boy on a Queens street Tuesday afternoon. The incident happened near the intersection of Springfield Boulevard and Union Turnpike around 2:50 p.m., police said. Officers found the boy with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center in stable condition. The suspect fled the scene after the shooting, police said.

San Diego police were looking for a gunman in Chollas View early Tuesday afternoon after he shot a teen in the leg and fled on a scooter. The shooting, which was reported around 12:30 p.m., occurred on 47th Street near Hilltop Drive, said police Lt. Travis Easter. The victim was an 18-year-old man who was transported to a hospital for treatment. No suspect was in custody, and police didn't say what led up to the shooting.

North Tonawanda, NY - A brawl inside a Webster Street restaurant spilled into the street early Sunday, ending with gunfire and a large police response, according to the North Tonawanda Police Department. Officers arrived at 58 Webster Street around 2:51 a.m. after reports of shots fired and found a man on the ground outside the restaurant. Two suspects are facing criminal charges after a Tuesday night shooting at a downtown Concord parking garage injured three people. Now, the suspect has been sentenced to nine years in state prison through a plea deal, court records show.
