Target is restructuring its creator strategy to enhance social commerce and improve sales under new CEO Michael Fiddelke.
The abundance of surface area on each individually-baked bite yields a chewy outer texture that foodies can really sink their teeth into. Meanwhile, the brownies' insides remain soft, gooey, and packed with moisture.
"Increased in-person collaboration across a core part of our merchandising team will help us reinforce our merchandising authority, unlocking greater creativity and enabling us to move faster to deliver on our strategy."
The themed offerings also continue into the grocery aisles, especially in the bakery, where colorful desserts and pastries are plentiful. One of the best brands to look for when it comes to spring treats is Target's own Favorite Day.
Valentine's Day is almost upon us, ushering in the desire for passionate displays of love - and what demonstrates passion more than food? Target may be the go-to place to pick up your everyday needs, but once a year, it becomes a one-stop shop for the love-packed holiday. Even if you're not too keen on the art of food yourself, chances are, someone you care for is a die-hard foodie.
After spending a large part of 2025 with its back to the wall, Target is intent on turning things around. The retail giant is heading into 2026 led by a new CEO who has ambitious plans, driven by a sharp focus on three areas: style and design, elevated customer experience, and better use of technology to improve speed and efficiency through the business.
Adorned in a statement-making blue splatter design, the stoneware plates give you all the style and charm of a pricey enamelware piece - without the splurge. Featuring a chunky round rim, the plates have a funky, sculptural look that brings a stylish flourish to mealtimes and hosting. While I'll obviously be going for the blue splatter colorway, the plates also come in solid blue, butter yellow, and classic white options, giving you plenty of room to mix and match pieces for a tablescape
Target recently dropped a lineup of comfy styles from my favorite brands-A New Day and Universal Thread-so I'm treating myself to as many petite-friendly options as possible. If you're 5-foot-4 or shorter, I recommend stocking up on these cropped pants, barrel-leg joggers, and wide-leg bottoms for your upcoming trips, too. My top picks are currently available for under $45, including a wrinkle-free style that one shopper called "the perfect combination of polished and comfy."
On Jan. 12., BleepingComputer reported that multiple repositories appeared on Gitea, apparently containing parts of internal code and developer documentation belonging to the major retailer Target . As of today, Jan. 13, multiple employees of the retailer have confirmed the leaked materials are authentic. As of current reports, the threat actor behind this incident is unknown. Likewise, it is unclear whether this exposure is due to a leakage, a breach or an insider's action.
That urgency comes after several challenging years for the company. Target has faced declining sales, shrinking traffic, and a loss of market share to competitors, compounded by backlash tied to several controversial business decisions. Among them were changes to its DEI initiatives, which sparked consumer boycotts and ultimately led to a class-action lawsuit filed by its own shareholders in 2025.
Not everything you'll find on our list is exclusive to Target. In fact, none of Target's own Good & Gather brand of frozen items made the top of our list since they're mainly all just okay in comparison to other available options. However, items from both Good & Gather and Target's Favorite Day brand are included among items you should skip.
Target is putting its style revamp on full display. The big-box chain is on a mission to rebuild its reputation for style, and its SoHo location in New York City appears to be the centerpiece of that effort. The store has been reimagined with immersive and interactive displays. The new look comes as operating chief and incoming CEO Michael Fiddelke has set his action plan to improve sales.
Much of the front half of the year for Target was defined by the company's decision in January to pull back on some diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as the Trump administration took power. That led Black-owned brands and employees to question Target's commitment to the progressive values that once defined its brand. In May, Target's CEO finally addressed the topic, somewhat, saying its values of inclusivity, connection and drive "are not up for debate."
Here's what the big box retailer reported for its Q3 2025: Net sales: $25.3 billion (down 1.4% from the same period in 2024) Adjusted earnings per share (EPS): $1.78 (down from $1.85 in the same period in 2024) Operating income: $948 million (down 18.9%) Net earnings: $689 million (down 19.3%) To put those first two all-important metrics into perspective, net sales came in below what analysts were expecting, but the company's adjusted earnings per share came in slightly above.
Confession: I basically live in loungewear. Matching sets remove the daily challenge of having to coordinate an outfit and are comfortable for a day of lounging or working from home. Plus, when I attend a workout class or go for a walk, I don't need to change, which is yet another perk of my favorite style. My closet is packed with loungewear sets I've had for years, but it is desperately in need of a refresh.
I know, I know: Halloween has yet to come and go, but it's not too soon to start talking about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the rest of the winter holidays. We just can't help it! Some of the best decor collections of the season are launching now, and perhaps one of our most-anticipated drops just hit the market this morning: the John Derian for Target Holiday Collection is now available online!
