The Outer Worlds is receiving a major update with new features, including grenades, and the base game will be delisted on May 27.
Hotel Barcelona embodies a distinct voice. The game comes from two industry auteurs, Hidetaka Suehiro and Goichi Suda, known for their unconventional games that push the medium into wacky territories. Over the years, Suehiro, who goes by Swery65, and Suda, popularly known as Suda51, have been the creative forces behind unique and bold video games that blend genres.
It seems that until now, Minecraft has generated its baby animals by scaling down the body size of their adult forms, but keeping the heads the same. And that's good. That's worked. But there was room for improvement. In the next update, due in the spring, all the game's younger animals will receive bespoke designs, complete with all-new animations, sound effects, and the cutest iddle widdle eyes you've ever seen.
Dubbed "The Thank You Update", this is no mere costume/weapon set, though there's over a dozen each of those to go find too. This is an all-encompassing update that brings everything from quality-of-life updates--a Picto/Lumina filter, a long-overdue photo mode, and an option to escape from battles, to a completely new area called "Verso's Drafts," with a bunch of new story content, mostly about Verso's childhood, and the final music tracks written by Lorien Testard for the game.
Battles play out on an open field where your mechs have total freedom of movement, and rather than traditional turns with action limits, you're given five seconds' worth of time to work with in each round. In the planning phase, you can scroll through a five-second timeline like you're using a video editor, which shows exactly what your enemies will be doing.
Island Getaway DLC, launching on August 20, introduces a new map called Cahaya and is free for all owners of the game, enhancing gameplay with new activities.
