Maja Malou Lyse's project 'Bombshell, Boom' revolves around the Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet's infamous 'Page-9 Girl' column, which has faced criticism for publishing images of underage girls. In a bold response, she cropped women's eyes from a current Page-9 Girl and displayed them on a monumental LED billboard, reversing the historical gaze that objectified the models.

"When I run into people in the street, they're very respectful," he went on. "They connect with my work, they recognize me, but they talk to me like you would talk to a person you don't know."

"Back then, all I wanted was to get back to the chimps. So if my legs were getting me the money, thank you legs."

Beauty is a cruel mistress, and it makes those who trade on it cruel, too. The models engage in a brutal game of sharing their worst job experiences, revealing a world distorted by objectification and hardship.
