A pair of men were arrested Saturday morning after they flashed a gun inside an Inwood Sunoco and ordered an employee to open the cash register, police said. Nassau County police reported that the two men entered the gas station and began the robbery at 2:30 a.m. Saturday before fleeing the scene in a Ford Fusion with cash and other items.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office says the armed robbery went down on April 23, 2024, at Diamond Fantasy on West Pleasant Avenue in Maywood. Detectives report that two masked men walked into the store, pulled out guns and threatened an employee and a customer. Investigators say the robbers fled but left behind duct tape and zip ties, and it did not take long for detectives to conclude that more people were involved.

Three men have been charged with armed robbery of a Rolex store in central London. The suspects allegedly entered the Bucherer boutique store in Knightsbridge just before 11:00 GMT on 20 January, threatened staff and customers with weapons then made off with high value watches, the Metropolitan Police said. Dean Dinan, 29, of Islington, Elliot Campbell, 31, of Islington, and Dyllan Gowie, 27, of Tower Hamlets are due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Friday.
The victim told police that someone knocked on his door just after midnight. When he opened it, an unknown person barged in holding a black handgun. Jesus Soto-Parada, 26, was arrested along with his alleged accomplice, Daniel Pavon, early last year. Soto-Parada, 26, appeared in federal court in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to interfere with commerce and seven counts of interfering with commerce by robbery. With his head dipped and voice low, Soto-Parada pleaded "culpable" through a Spanish interpreter as he forfeited his right to a trial.
"Incidents like this are unsettling, but our officers responded quickly, secured the scene, and worked with our partners to identify and arrest the suspect," said Lake City Chief of Police Gerald Butler in a press release.
Maria De La Rosa, 22, known professionally as DELAROSA was shot to death inside a car with two other occupants early Saturday in Northridge when the suspects approached their parked car on Bryant STreet near Tampa Avenue, demanded money and opened fire, authorities said. Randolph police responded to the AI Prime gas station at 304 Union St. for a report of an armed robbery on Saturday around 8:15 p.m., the department said. The suspect, later identified as McDonald, was reported to have been wearing a black mask and was carrying a semiautomatic handgun. He fled on foot, according to police.
