Nuro has become a key player in the robotaxi and autonomous vehicle arena, having already received a California DMV permit for driverless deliveries with its R3 Nuro Robot vehicle.
The Modevo takes the opposite approach, designing each of its three components as a fully functional standalone bag first, then engineering the connection points to make the combined configurations work without compromising the individual pieces.
"Micromobility is already a part of how people get to work, school and around their communities, but right now, the rules are unclear and inconsistent," Healey said in a statement. "We are seeing too much reckless behavior, more crashes and close calls, and too many people, especially pedestrians and young riders, are at risk."
The vertical spinning turbines were installed alongside the East Coast Main Line at Hitachi Rail's Craigentinny depot and are said to be the first of their kind to be installed and operated next to a UK main line railway.
"What we really need is a public groundswell," said Jim Mathews, President and CEO of the National Rail Passengers Association. "You need the public to comment in the docket and send letters to their members of Congress ... Regular people [need to know that] train services are potentially threatened because very safe train operators, who have never had a wreck, are facing the reality that their insurance is going to go up - just because the law says it has to. And the insurance market doesn't want to do it."
ENC's Jurupa Valley facility spans 227,000 square feet and operates as an ISO 9001-certified site, producing transit buses that meet federal Buy America requirements.
The fare for a single PATH train ride is now $3.25, up from $3. Reduced fare for riders ages 65 and older, as well as those with disabilities, also increased on Monday to $1.60, up a dime from $1.50.
Walmart is now deploying ABB E-mobility's A400 all-in-one 400-kilowatt DC fast charger at several stores in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This type of dispenser can deliver up to 400 kW to a single connected EV, and dynamically manage the power output to each EV if two cars are charging at the same time.
The data reflects a broader shift in transport trends, with more motorists moving towards electric vehicles and reducing discretionary travel. The fall in receipts was indicative of a longer-term shift to electric vehicles.
"Engaging people around the idea that bus travel is an attractive lifestyle choice is making a world of difference," says Brian Antolin, CEO of Metrolane. "States have the flexibility to use federal funds for high-quality marketing, which is making possible their big push for new riders."
The larger share of the order consists of 200 Scania intercity buses equipped with CNG fuel systems designed for extended range, allocated to services within the Paris region.
"If we can get more folks off all the roads and their personal vehicles and use the safer service which our stats show, at least in our service in the cities where we operate, we are contributing to less crashes," Anthony Perez, Waymo's northeast policy manager, stated.
The new C127 EV adopts a modular battery configuration based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology supplied by CATL, delivering a total installed capacity of 497 kWh, an increase from the previous 462 kWh.
The real problem is infrastructure, not vehicle safety. Roadways are open systems with infinite variables—weather, pedestrians, distracted drivers, and aging infrastructure. Communication between vehicles is minimal, and infrastructure is largely silent—and in that gap lies the potential for deadly collisions.
