Three people have died after a crash near Tillsonburg, about 43 kilometres from London, Ont., said Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Officers responded to a collision between an SUV and pickup truck on Mall Road between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line around 4 p.m. Friday, said a news release from the OPP. Police said both passengers of the pickup truck were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but were later pronounced dead.
Large clouds of smoke were visible above Trinity Bellwoods park Saturday morning due to a fire in a washroom, said Toronto Fire. Firefighters responded to the scene shortly after 10 a.m., where a garbage bin and part of a "washroom structure" were on fire, said a social media post by Toronto Fire. Crews at the scene extinguished the fire and there were no injuries reported, they said.

A pedestrian was struck and killed on Monday morning in Boston's South End neighborhood, police say. The vehicle involved was a Boston University shuttle bus, according to NBC10 Boston. Boston police received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian in the area of the BU Medical Campus at 744 Albany St. around 7:58 a.m. Officers found that the pedestrian was trapped beneath the bus, and they were later pronounced dead at the scene.
A vehicle crashed onto the steps of Los Angeles City Hall around 4:08 p.m. on Friday, prompting road closures in the area, according to authorities. Los Angeles Police officers are trying to make contact with the driver, who has not come out of the car in the hour since the crash, according to a department spokesperson.

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle in a Scarborough intersection on Friday evening, Toronto police said. The incident happened at around 5 p.m. at Steeles Avenue E. and Midland Avenue, police said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Police said an adult victim died at the scene and that the driver of the vehicle remained on scene when officers arrived.
The gate into and out of Black Rock City was closed Tuesday evening due to rain and possible lightning, as bad luck continues to put a damper on the festivities at Burning Man. The rain and thunderstorms also closed Nevada State Route 447 in Nixon, Nev. This year's NYC Summer Streets season ends today with festivities in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
